Almost randomly and quite last minute, 3 of my collages found their way into a group exhibition called Cut & Paste. Opens tonight(!) at The Mill in Walthamstow, the exhibition focuses on contemporary collages and the way we "recycle and reprocess the world around us through imagery".

I'm super excited to take part at an exhibition that focuses on collages only.

As my background and my main focus is product design, I took part in exhibitions that were themed around objects and products, but I never before had the opportunity to take part at a collage exhib...

A very belated Happy New 2018!

I've been busy making a small jewellery collection just before Christmas and now it has its own website: www.Bisous-et-Bijoux.co.uk.

Check it out and buy yourselves a pair of earrings or a necklace.

Making my own jewellery has been a dream of mine for a very long time. We're talking years.. I love fashion and I've always enjoyed wearing large earrings and all sorts of other accessories, so it always felt like this day will come at some point. But I kept on wandering how I'll incorporate making jewellery with being a product / furni...

I've been meaning to do it for a long time and it is finally happening!

I'm organising an 'open studios' event in my studio's building at Terrace Studios in Hackney.

The building, which used to be a sweat shop way back when, is now home to an eclectic variety of creatives. We are artists, illustrators, graphic designers, entrepreneurs, designers, photographers, architects, jewellery makers, musicians and more.

As artists and creative people we find ourselves most of the time by ourselves in the studio, working on our art / design /craft etc. This event is an o...

It's time to say it - I am a woman.

Not only that, but I am also a wife, a mother, a daughter and a friend.

I am a sister to my sisters, I am an aunt and a cousin, and I am also a niece .

Sometimes I am a patient, sometime a customer, an eBay buyer, a street walker, an acquaintance, an occasional bus rider.

I am a designer and an artist. A furniture maker, a model maker, an interior designer, a fashion lover, an art enthusiastic, a lover of colours, a lover of shapes.

(Some colours. Some shapes.)

I am recently a ma'am, sometimes a Mrs.

I used to be a lit...

Today was one of those days… It felt like the world was against me, nothing went right and the weather was gray. Uninspired I decided to take a little break from my studio work and to search for some inspiration online. Now that I feel rejuvenated I'm sharing some of it here.

'The Art of Being Yourself' is a Ted Talk by Caroline McHugh, this video is a really good reminder of how important it is to truly be yourself, and how challenging it is for most people. I mostly liked her prediction: "People who are afraid to be themselves will work for those who aren't...

My online shop is now open for business. Whoop whoop.

I've been working on it for a while and it is finally on the air, currently offering Giclée prints of my collages, and soon I will sell my designed objects as well.

As the shop has just been launched the prices are low and delivery (in the UK only) is FREE. So go on. Get yourself a bargain.

Click on the shop section, choose a colourful print and hang it on the wall.

Shop shop shop.

Forgive me 'blog-god' as I have sinned. It's been.. Well, way too long since my last post.

I've been busy you see… My past few weeks have been filled with papers and scissors and cut outs of prints of flowers and birds. I've been making lots and lots of collages.

You can view them here, and I'm currently working on an online shop so they will be available to purchase under the 'shop' section of my website.

Making collages is quite a new territory for me as I consider myself a product designer more than anything. But I guess the heart wants what the heart wants....

I have recently opened my Instagram account. Yay. You can now follow me here.

I'm still discovering the lay of the land, but I did find one of the most inspiring - design related accounts that Instagram has to offer. It belongs to Alice Rawsthorn, a design journalist for the international New York Times. And it's more than just nice photos!

Each week she posts about a different topic. And so each day of the week she uploads a photo with information. It is always design related but in a broad way, which makes it very interesting and eye opening. This week the to...

Just before Christmas, the head of Industrial Design at the Holon Institute of Technology, where I studied for my BA, contacted me to say that as part of their 40th anniversary, they will be curating a new exhibition called 'Rewriting History' and he invited me to submit some of my work.

As the intention of the exhibition is to show graduates older design work from around the time they were students alongside more current projects, it was a good opportunity for me to review everything  I've created since my student days.

For my older piece, I decided to show my...

Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas and happy holidays.

It's been a busy 2016 at the studio and we are now all ready for the Xmas break.

Hopefully 2017 will be a creative and productive year filled with new and exciting opportunities for us all.

Be merry, drink wine and eat a lot of Hanukkah donuts.

The studio will be back at full speed in the new year.
