Just before Christmas, the head of Industrial Design at the Holon Institute of Technology, where I studied for my BA, contacted me to say that as part of their 40th anniversary, they will be curating a new exhibition called 'Rewriting History' and he invited me to submit some of my work.
As the intention of the exhibition is to show graduates older design work from around the time they were students alongside more current projects, it was a good opportunity for me to review everything I've created since my student days.
For my older piece, I decided to show my final BA project from 2005 - a dynamic desk for small flats. Although the original prototype is sadly long gone, I still have a collection of beautiful photos and I picked out some of my favourites to be exhibited.
The current project I chose is my 'Wired Lamp' - a one off table lamp made of electrical wire and silver strips. I made this in 2011 and first exhibited it as part of my solo exhibition 'Lucid Dream'.
If you're visiting Israel during February by any chance, pop by to have a look. From the 5th of February.
